Laye Dermatology is a specialist medical practice so a referral from your doctor is required to obtain a Medicare rebate where a rebate applies.

For new patients, please send referrals to admin@layedermatology.com.au so our dermatologists can review the referral before our administration team can book an appointment. This helps to ensure priority is given to urgent cases identified by your GP.

Some referring doctors will fax or email your referral directly to us. In this instance, we will have our dermatologists review your referral and our reception staff will then contact you to book your appointment.

You will receive an SMS text to remind you of your upcoming appointment.

We maintain a waiting list for patients who may have an urgent need for our medical assistance.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that from time to time it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

At Laye Dermatology we kindly request that you provide us at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations and reschedules within 48 hours, or non-attendance at appointments will incur a fee.
